Getting
There from Singapore
-
If you are coming from the Woodlands Causeway,
make a U-turn after passing the Malaysian
Immigration and Customs. Go along the busy
Wong Ah Fook road and you will see an Interchange.
Follow the sign to Kota Tinggi and Desaru
by keeping extreme right until you are along
Jalan Tebrau. Follow this road through its
many traffic lights heading towards Kota Tinggi.
Do not turn left or right, just keep going
12 o' clock at all traffic junctions.
Once you are out of Johor Bahru city, the
traffic will be much less. Continue to head
towards Kota Tinggi and Mersing. When you
get to the junction that points left for Kota
Tinggi, ignore that sign and head towards
Mersing.
When you get to the traffic junction further
up the road, follow the sign to Desaru which
is a right turn.
-
If you are coming from the Second Link at
Tuas, enter the Highway and head North towards
Kulai town. There should be only one turn
to the left. Follow the Kuala Lumpur, Melaka
and Kulai signs until you get to the exit
for Kulai.
After paying the toll drive straight till
you reach the second traffic light and T-junction.
Turn right and head towards Kulai Town. You
are on Route 3. When you reach town (about
10 minutes) turn left when you see the Kota
Tinggi and Mersing Sign. There should be a
KFC outlet on your right at this junction.
Follow this road (Route 90) all the way till
you get to the sign that points left for Kota
Tinggi. Drive along this road till you get to another
sign that points left for Kota Tinggi and
straight for Mersing. Head towards Mersing
till you come to the traffic junction where
there is a right turn for Desaru. Drive on
straight about 30-45 minutes (depending on
the traffic) till you see Petronas Petrol
Station on your left. Turn left at the
Petronas Junction and drive on straight
until you see a wooden clubhouse on top of
the little hill on your right. You are at
Desaru Golf & Country Resort.
-
Another
alternative and hassle free traveling is via
the ferry link from Changi (Singapore)-Tg.
Belungkor (Johor) route. At the moment, only
passenger-ferry is available and if the
situation warrants, a vehicle-ferry will be
introduced. A new ferry operator has been
awarded the ferry services of
Tg-Belungkor-Changi Ferry route to commence
from 15 May 2002 onwards. For details
information regarding this ferry service,
please proceed to this page, Ferry
Services.
